Alexandra DeTrolio Murachanian

National Director

As the National Director of DreamMaker National Talent Competition, Alexandra DeTrolio Murachanian brings passion, experience, and a fresh vision to the competitive dance industry. Alex has been dancing since the age of 3 and grew up immersed in the competitive dance world, developing a deep love and appreciation for the arts and the community surrounding it.

Known for her attention to detail, energy, and genuine love for the industry, Alex is driven by her passion to shine through in every DreamMaker event and experience. As she moves into her fourth season as National Director, she continues to be inspired by the incredible studios, teachers, dancers, and families who join the DreamMaker family each weekend. Alexandra is passionate about maintaining that close-knit, family feel DreamMaker is known for while continuing to evolve with the ever-changing world of competitive dance.

She believes the key to growth is listening, learning, and always striving to make the experience even better for every client who walks through the doors. Her heart behind DreamMaker shines through, and she wants all to see her passion and pride.

Joey Taylor

Event Manager

Joey Taylor is thrilled to be entering her third season as Event Manager with DreamMaker. As a competitive dancer within the Star Dance Alliance family, Joey understands firsthand the dedication, excitement, and passion that come with stepping onto the competition stage. Joey attended High Point University, where she majored in Sport Management and was a member of the nationally ranked High Point University Dance Team.

Alongside her role as Event Manager, Joey is an active part of the DanceOne Social Media team, serves as a Wild Child instructor with Wild Dance Intensive, as well as a Power Pak team leader. She is known for her high energy, positive spirit, and love for working with dancers. Joey's favorite part of every event is connecting with each studio and ensuring that everyone feels welcomed, informed, and cared for throughout their weekend.
